How to Join

Please read the ongoing research projects and publications before writing. A focused email that connects your background to a specific SCALE research direction is the most useful first step.

Fellowship-supported route
Postdoc
Postdoctoral candidates can apply through Institute Postdoctoral Fellowships, NPDF, ICMR/DBT fellowships, and related external fellowship schemes. Write to me with your research interest and background; a proposal can be developed together when there is a strong fit.
Notes
Project-funded postdoctoral positions will be advertised here and on the institute page.
Prior experience in simulations, theory, or scientific computing is useful.
Institute admission route
PhD
PhD applications must go through the IIT Bhubaneswar institute portal. Positions usually open each semester: March-April for the Autumn semester and October-November for the Spring semester.
Who should write
Students with GATE, JRF, or INSPIRE fellowships are welcome to write directly.
Briefly state your interests, background, and the research direction you want to pursue.

Thesis Project
Thesis and project work for M.Sc. / BTP / ITEP students is open to students of IIT Bhubaneswar. Please go through the ongoing research projects and publications, then schedule a meeting by email and meet in person after deciding the topic of interest.

Briefly mention relevant coursework, coding experience, or prior project work.
Short-term research route
Internship
Students interested in internships or project work should first go through the ongoing research projects and recent publications. If the work is of interest and you have relevant expertise, write to me directly by email. We are not able to offer any financial support for such positions.
